The Junior League of San Angelo is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

We pray we will never be so blind that our small world is all we see or so supremely satisfied that what we are is all we ever hope to be. Grant us the joy of filling someone’s need. Make us gracious followers. Make gracious those who lead and more that all we pray that down the years we will remember there are always new frontiers.

On Voluntarism
The Junior League of San Angelo, Inc. supports and promotes voluntarism as an essential component of our society and will continue to take action which will ensure the effectiveness of the voluntary sector.
On Children
The Junior League of San Angelo, Inc. is committed to ensuring that children have the opportunity and services essential for their physical, intellectual, emotional, mental, social and economic well-being and will advocate seeing that such opportunities exist.
On Education
The Junior League of San Angelo, Inc. supports and promotes excellence in public education, and is committed to the use of its resources to positively impact the education of children within our community.
On Women
The Junior League of San Angelo, Inc. is committed to ensuring that women have the opportunities and services essential for their intellectual, economic, social, mental, physical and emotional well-being.
On Environment
The Junior League of San Angelo, Inc. is committed to a safer, cleaner, and healthier environment.

Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI)
The Junior League of San Angelo is a member within the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI).

The AJLI is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

AJLI Vision
Through the power of our association, Junior Leagues strengthen communities by embracing diverse perspectives, building partnerships and inspiring shared solutions.
Reaching Out
The AJLI reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism.
AJLI Purpose
The purpose of the AJLI is to add value to is member Leagues in their fulfillment of the Junior League Mission.
The Power of the Association
Formed in 1921, the Association provides continuity and support, guidance and leadership development opportunities to 292 Junior Leagues in Canada, Mexico, the UK, and the US. Through regional, national and international meetings, comprehensive resources, customized consultations, League and member benefits, the AJLI adds value to our member Leagues in their fulfillment of the Junior League Mission.

The AJLI is governed by a 19-member Board of Directors, all of whom are members of the Junior Leagues in their communities. The Board is accountable to the Leagues for the development of goals that enhance Leagues’ ability to fulfill the Junior League Mission. The Association’s New York City-based staff under the leadership of the Executive Director provides services to Leagues that support the established goals.

AJLI is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization. All of their programs and activities are supported by League membership dues, foundation and corporate grants and other revenue-producing efforts.
