The Mission The JLSA is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
The Vision Together we will be catalysts for positive change in our community.
The History Founded in 1946 by a group of 12 women, JLSA has grown today to over 400 dedicated and hardworking Actives, Provisionals and Sustainers. We volunteer more than 18,000 hours each year through various projects, in-house committees, and fundraisers.
