The Strength of Women, the Power of Community

It is truly an honor to serve this year as the President of the Junior League of San Angelo. I am also very excited about the opportunities and challenges that lie before us. Margaret Mead once said, "Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has."

I am proud to be a member of the Junior League of San Angelo, a league that is full of talent, energy and passion. I am confident that it is that diversity that will allow us to rise to heights even greater thatn we can imagine, but it will take a lot of hard work, dedication, compromise and lhe love for our community and each other to accomplish our mission. That is why my theme for the upcoming league year is "The Strength of Women, the Power of Community."

As the upcoming year unfolds, it is my hope and prayer that each of you will keep that theme before you. You will be presented with new and renewed opportunities to serve and I hope you will embrace those opportunities with all your might and that at the end of the day, those we serve will benefit like they never have before. I am confident that if all our hearts are in the right place, there is nothing that we can't accomplish together.
